Introduction

FinPortill ("we", "our", "the app") is an AI-powered market analysis app developed and operated by Bellisan ("we", "the company"). FinPortill provides automated, informational analysis of stocks, indices and currency pairs. It is not a broker, does not execute trades, does not hold or transfer funds, and does not provide personalised investment advice. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use FinPortill, how we use it, and what choices you have.

Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address, name (where the provider shares it) and a unique account identifier from that provider. We do not receive or store your Google or Apple password. Apple may provide a private relay email address instead of your real address.

App activity. We store the analyses you run (ticker symbol, date, time horizon and the generated report), your analysis history, your watchlist and the markets or tickers you search for, so we can show them back to you across your devices.

Subscription and purchase information. If you subscribe, your purchase history and subscription status are processed through Google Play Billing or the Apple App Store and managed by our subscription provider RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status and an app user identifier. We never see or store your card or payment details.

Device or other identifiers. Our subscription provider uses an app user identifier to link purchases to your account.

Outside a race recording the app uses your location only while it is open. During an active race recording, Regatta keeps recording your position while the screen is locked or the app is in the background, and shows a notification while it does so.

If you connect to your boat's Signal K server or NMEA gateway, the app reads data from that device over your local network. The connection is read-only; nothing is sent to your boat's instruments.

We do not collect your precise or approximate location, contacts, photos, files or messages. FinPortill does not contain advertising and does not use third-party advertising or behavioural analytics SDKs.

How We Use Your Information

To create and maintain your account and let you sign in on your devices.

To run the analyses you request and show you your analysis history and watchlist.

To manage subscriptions and unlock the features you have paid for.

To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties and we do not use your data for advertising.

AI-Generated Content and No Financial Advice

Analyses in FinPortill are generated automatically by AI models using public market data and news. When an analysis is generated, only the information needed for the analysis (such as the ticker symbol and public market data) is sent to the AI and market data providers we use. Your name, email address and other account details are not included in those requests. The content is for general information and education only. It is not investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and you are responsible for your own decisions.

Third-Party Services

FinPortill uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy practices:

Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple, for authentication.

Google Play Billing and the Apple App Store, for payment processing.

RevenueCat, for subscription management.

AI model providers and market data / news providers, to generate analyses from public market information.

We share data with these providers only as needed to deliver the service.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers operated by us. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) between the app and our servers and apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Data may be processed in countries other than your own; where required, we use appropriate safeguards.

Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete your account at any time inside the app: open Settings and choose Delete Account. Deleting your account removes your profile, analysis history, watchlist and related data from our active systems. If you cannot access the app, email [email protected] from the address you used to sign in with the subject "FinPortill account deletion" and we will delete your account and associated data. We keep subscription and billing records only where the law or the payment provider requires it. Backups are overwritten on a regular cycle.

Website Cookies

Our website does not use third-party tracking, advertising cookies or behavioural analytics tools. Only strictly necessary session cookies generated by our web framework (for example PHPSESSID, which is HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict) are used to keep the site working and are removed when you close your browser. No tracking data is collected through our website.

Children's Privacy

FinPortill is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live (including under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by other appropriate means.
